Victoriano Darias is Senior Global Legal Policy Advisor at the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI). Before that, Victoriano was Senior Legal Advisor at the European Grouping of Societies of Authors and Composers (GESAC). He also has extensive experience in academia having held teaching and management positions in intellectual property and in music industry programs at Universidad Internacional de la Rioja, Berklee College of Music and UCLA. Victoriano has a PhD in Mass Communication and master’s degrees in EU Law (LLM - College of Europe) and Music Business (MA - New York University).
