

Martin Clancy
Founder AI:OK
Martin Clancy is the founder of AI:OK, an Enterprise Ireland–funded initiative promoting responsible and transparent use of AI in the music and creative industries. He is a Senior AI Research Fellow at Dublin City University and editor of Artificial Intelligence and the Music Ecosystem (Routledge, 2026), which will be launched by the IEEE at CES in Las Vegas on 6 January 2026. A certified Ableton Live Trainer with a long background as a touring musician, producer, and artist manager, Martin brings a practitioner’s insight to the ethics and governance of emerging technologies. Over the past 18 months, he has delivered more than 30 international keynotes on AI, creativity, and the future of work in the arts. His work and commentary have appeared in global outlets including the BBC, TMZ, CNBC, The LA Times, The New York Times, Wired, and The Irish Times. Martin’s focus is on building practical, artist-centred frameworks that support musicians, educators, and creative workers as AI reshapes the music ecosystem.
